asked by someone with far less knowledge of the English language than you, imagine yourself visiting an observatory, you ask a question about the manipulation of light beams passing through the telescope lenses, and the response is something like… That’s not a relevant question here because we only use digital telescopes. Now, I did study optical telescopic methods in grad school, but your question should really be answered by optical telescopists in our sister observatory.
