comment Editing policy for responses to Questions: should we allow the edit to change the response?
@medica: Yes, please. That's one heck of an accusation and you'd better be able to back it up. I think I've been rather pleasant through this whole ordeal, despite everyone apparently "ganging up on me" for taking the time to provide a useful, constructive edit that improves the site for everybody. In my answer above I even suggested some alternative media for the OP to write his thoughts! Now that's kind. Sometimes I do wonder why I even bother when this is the sort of reaction you get. Look in a mirror, basically.

(cont.) There is literally no way that "Discussion of the difficulties facing TV series and providing examples" can be considered on-topic for ELU (try Movies & TV) and if, for some reason, this community has come to think otherwise, then SE needs to take a closer look at ELU's mandate. As for "blasting someone", I have literally no idea what you are talking about but that's quite the accusation.

The fact that 4 or 5 paragraphs were removed does not make it a bad edit. The fact that 4 or 5 paragraphs needed to be removed made it a bad post, which is why I edited it. And despite the fact that I have only 791 rep on ELU, I have over 133,000 rep on Stack Exchange in general and therefore know quite well what "on-topic" means. (cont.)
