I am definitely not an expert, but I do love words and languages. The language with which I'm most infatuated is English, with its legions of synonyms, quirks, and inconsistencies.

Also, I get that 'Heartspring' is a very, very puerile choice for a username. But when I first joined, I didn't realize how serious this place was, and at this point I feel like it's been too long to change it. So yeah :(
